Zuzanna Sejbuk began her piano journey at the age of 5 under the tutelage of Ms. Hanna Urbańska in her hometown of Szczecin. Since 2019, she has been studying at the Fryderyk Chopin Secondary School of Music in Krakow in the piano class of Ms. Olga Łazarska. She is currently a student at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the piano class of Prof. Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just.

 

The pianist participates in numerous master classes led by outstanding teachers, such as Dang Thai Son, Arie Vardi, Andrzej Jasiński, Wojciech Świtała, Ewa Pobłocka, Hubert Rutkowski, and Eldar Nebolsin.

She is a laureate of many prestigious piano competitions in Poland and abroad, her latest achievements include:

• Grand Prix of the 3rd "Competition Alternative" of Polish Radio Chopin

• Grand Prix at the National Piano Competition of the Center for Artistic Education for Students of Secondary Music Schools in Warsaw

• 1st prize at the 5th National A. Harasiewicz Piano Competition in Warsaw

• First prize at the M. de Falla Spanish Music Competition in Warsaw.

 

In 2025, Zuzanna qualified for the first stage of the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. She was also a finalist in the 53rd National Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw.

 

The artist has performed in prestigious concert halls such as the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music, the ATMA Villa in Zakopane, the Royal Łazienki Park, the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic in Szczecin, the Opole Philharmonic, the Kraków Philharmonic, the Subcarpathian Philharmonic, the Lower Silesian Philharmonic, and the Sociedad Filharmónica de Bilbao.

 

Zuzanna has been a long-time scholarship recipient from the National Children's Fund and the Pro Musica Bona Foundation in Kraków. She has also received several scholarships from the Mayor of Szczecin, a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, and a scholarship from the Kraków Club. In 2022, she participated in the Morningside Music Bridge scholarship program in Boston, USA, designed for young, talented musicians.
