Tomasz Kłeczek

Harpsichordist and pianist, born in Virginia, USA. He is the founder and director of the early music ensemble ECHO, with whom he received the 2026 Fryderyk Award for his debut album, Echo, devoted to English Baroque music.

He has performed as a soloist at venues including Phoenix Hall in Hiroshima, Carnegie Hall in New York, the Chopin Museum in Warsaw, and the Chopin Centre in Szafarnia. He has played at numerous festivals, including Pianofone in Kraków, the Sound Test in Bydgoszcz, and the Polish Chamber Music Festival in Szczecin.

He is a finalist of the Wanda Landowska International Harpsichord Competition in Poznań and the 22nd Kiejstut Bacewicz International Chamber Music Competition in Łódź, and a laureate of numerous piano competitions, including first prize at the Washington Steinway Piano Competition.

He is a student at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, studying piano with Professor Adam Kośmieja. In 2025, he completed his bachelor's degree in harpsichord performance under Professor Urszula Bartkiewicz and Professor Dorota Zimna. In 2024, he completed his bachelor's degree in piano performance under Professor Ewa Pobłocka and Professor Adam Kośmieja. He also studied chamber music under Professor Marcin Sikorski.

He perfected his skills at master classes led by Garrick Ohlsson, Rafał Blechacz, Christophe Rousset, Alexander Kobrin, Sofya Gulyak, Eugene Tzigane.
