Mikołaj Woźniak

Mikołaj Woźniak is a Polish pianist born in Zielona Góra in 2003. He studies with Professor Claudio Martinez-Mehner at the Musik-Akademie Basel. He has won numerous first prizes in national and international piano competitions and is an active soloist and chamber musician.

 

In recent years, he has had the opportunity to work with György Kurtág, Kirill Gerstein, Robert Levin, and Andreas Staier. In 2023, he was invited to participate in master classes and concerts organized as part of the Oxford Piano Festival.

In his artistic practice, he places great importance on adapting his interpretations to the nature of the concert space and the performance context, devoting himself equally to both solo and chamber repertoire. He has performed in prestigious concert halls and regularly collaborates with other musicians on chamber music projects.

 

Since 2014, he has been a scholarship holder of the Europäische Stiftung der Rahn Dittrich Group für Bildung und Kultur, based in Leipzig. In 2026, he was elected to the Verbier Festival Soloist Academy and received the Prix Collard from the Kiefer Hablitzel Stiftung, based in Bern.
