Emilia Bałaga

Emilia Bałaga is a soprano and pianist who studied opera singing with Catherine Malfitano at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. She is a 2026 Future Classics scholarship recipient.

In 2023, she graduated from the Ludomir Różycki Secondary Music School in Kielce, studying piano with Małgorzata Kowalska and singing with Renata Drozd. In 2024, she made her debut on the stage of the Grand Theatre - National Opera in Warsaw, playing the leading role in the educational performance "Śpiewający" (Singing

"Stanisław Moniuszko's Garden."

She has won numerous awards in vocal and piano competitions. Her most notable achievements include: first place at the 10th Krystyna Jamroz National Vocal Competition in Kielce (2022), first place at the 14th Irena Rolanowska National Piano Competition in Kraków (2022), and third place at the Ludomir Różycki Vocal Competition in Gliwice and the Fryderyk Chopin Vocal Competition in Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz (2023).

A two-time winner of the Performance Competition at the Complex of State Music Schools in Kielce, she has performed with the Świętokrzyska Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also performed at the 29th Krystyna Jamroz International Music Festival in Busko-Zdrój and the 39th "Musical Festival of Blooming Azaleas" at Moszna Castle. In 2019, she was awarded a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
